The menu, composed by the young Chef Arnaud Coulet, promises “carefully-prepared cuisine at reasonable prices”. A stone’s throw from the Château de Germigney, owned by the same proprietor, the Bistrot le Pontarlier is a stopping-off point for visitors exploring the regional wine trails or on cycling vacations, the fishermen and women from the banks of the Loue and anyone with an interest in the extensive local heritage: spectacular cirques, caves, lakes and waterfalls or monuments in the local Franc-Comté architecture.
